NOTAM to AIXM 5 Mapper (Digital NOTAM)

The next generation of NOTAM - Digital NOTAM - will be based on AIXM 5. AIXM 5 introduces a temporality model that enables a unified management of static data (AIP) and dynamic data (NOTAM).  Digital NOTAMs are full machine-readable and thus they can be fully automatically converted into ICAO NOTAMs without any loss of information. ICAO NOTAMs may as a matter of principle require some human interpretation during digitalisation. The NOTAM to AIXM 5 mapper automates the conversion from ICAO NOTAM to Digital NOTAM as far as possible.
